The AnyClient software is available for download for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux/Solaris; you can also use it on the web, regardless of operating system. However, other modes of setting up a WebDAV connection (e.g., mapping a drive in Windows 8 or 7, or using Cyberduck in Mac OS X) may be easier to use; for instructions, see ARCHIVED: Downloading files from Resources or Drop Box using WebDAV with Windows and ARCHIVED: Downloading files from Resources or Drop Box using WebDAV with Mac OS X.

Note: WebDAV is not available for use with Guestaccounts.

Accessing the software

You can choose to download the software or access it via the web:

Web access

To use the web-based version of AnyClient:

1. From the AnyClient page, if you have already set up an AnyClient web account, click Sign In. If you do not have an account, click Create Free Account and follow the prompts to create one; then sign in.
2. When the security warning appears, click Run. On a Mac, choose Trust the certificate.
3. Continue to the instructions below for Connectingto your site.

Connecting to your site

Once you have AnyClient running by one of the two methods above, you will see two columns; the one on the left is your local system, and the one on the right is the remote system. Itext pro 1 2 5 – ocr tool windows 10.

To connect to your site's Resources or Drop Box:

1. At the bottom of the page, click Connect.
2. In the bottom left corner of the 'Connect' dialog box, click New.
3. A directory called NewSite will appear in the 'Site Manager' column; you can give this a meaningful name if you want to.
4. Under 'General', click in the 'Host' field, and enter a URL that points to the destination tool.
   • To connect to a site's Resources, enter the following URL,replacing siteID with the appropriate siteID:
   • To connect to your personal Resources (in MyWorkspace), enter one of the following URLs (both will work),replacing username with your IU username:
   • To connect to a site's Drop Box, enter the following URL, replacingsiteID with the appropriate siteID:
   • Alternatively, to find the URL you need, go to the site and tool you want toconnect to and click Upload-Download Multiple Resources. TheURL for that tool appears in the instructions.

5. Type your Network ID credentials in the 'Username' and 'Password' fields.
6. From the 'Protocol' drop-down list, choose WebDAV.
7. Click Connect.

After a few seconds, the 'Remote System' column on the right will display the files and folders in your site. Navigate into folders by double-clicking them. Click to select the file or folder you want to copy, and click the arrows ( >> or << ) to copy it to the destination location.

When you have finished copying files, click Disconnect.

Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and later

To use WebDAV to download files from Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and later:

1. Download the CyberduckWebDAV client.

   Note: Make sure to download the version that is compatible with your version of Mac OS X.

2. Double-click the downloaded file to decompress it, and then drag the Cyberduck application to your Applications folder.
3. Open Cyberduck, and in the 'Quick Connect' text box, enter the WebDAV URL for your site's Resources or Drop Box tool:
   • To connect to a site's Resources, enter the following URL,replacing siteID with the appropriate siteID:
   • To connect to your personal Resources (in MyWorkspace), enter one of the following URLs (both will work),replacing username with your IU username:
   • To connect to a site's Drop Box, enter the following URL, replacingsiteID with the appropriate siteID:

4. In the resulting dialog box, fill in the fields next to 'Username:' and 'Password:' with your Network ID credentials. Click Login.

You may now drag and drop folders from your site to your computer.

To bookmark this URL for future use, from the Bookmark menu (Cyberduck 3.3b1 or later) or Action menu (Cyberduck 3.2.1 or earlier), select New Bookmark.

When you log in, you can choose to have the passphrase remembered in your Keychain. Use ps4 controller on mac. If you do this, you will not be prompted for a passphrase when you log into your personal Resources or Drop Box or the Resources for any site to which you have access. Do not do this unless your computer is secured from use by others.
